Hi Bro,
Tell me, what is the consensus with the possibility of Donald Trump becoming the next President of the USA and if he makes it will you move back to Australia?
Cheers,
Terry
G'day Terry,
When all this started the political pundits all over the country didn't give Trump more than a few weeks to be in the race. Even today none of them are sure of what's going to happen on a day to day basis. What has happened goes back years but mainly came to a head during Obama's office. Simply put, the people in general have gotten royally sick and tired of politicians in general; how they fight among themselves from the same party; how the opposition merely stopped anything from happening because of their personal bias towards Obama the man and not even so much as his plans and policies; and of all the back and forth and finger pointing.
What is happening now, as far as I'm concerned, is solely because of how the politicians on all sides have conducted themselves. The people started looking for someone who couldn't be bought off and who didn't care about being so 'politically correct.' So, along came Trump. If by chance he becomes president it will because enough people believe that he has the character and bravado to stand up and get things done. If the politicians want to complain about how things are going they need to look to themselves first for the reason.
As for moving back to Australia, well, as much as we might like to it will be impossible. We would most likely lose our social security, hence our retirement. We simply couldn't afford the move or the cost of living Down Under.
Personally, I'm looking forward to interesting times. What will be will be, whether good or bad. At the end of the year we have our chance to put in our penny's worth when we vote then, like everyone here, we'll just have to accept the result of our choice and adapt.
Like I said, interesting times are coming.
Love to everyone,
Greg
